You're invited to stand up for children...by sitting down to dinner.
It's fun. And important. And deliciously simple. It all started on World Food Day, October 16, 2008 – when caring Canadians shared a meal together in support of children affected by poverty. Through this remarkable campaign, companies, employees and customers within Canada’s electrical industry have come together to raise much-needed funds and awareness for children affected by poverty.
With the support of the Electro-Federation, Hungry For Change has seen exceptional participation from over 400 company sites and thousands of employees, suppliers and customers. To date the campaign has hosted hundreds of events, raised awareness of the cause and contributed more than half a million dollars – providing more than 2 million meals. And the number continues to grow!
