How to set up your Personal Fundraising Page
To create your own personal fundraising page, simply:
Click on "Set Up Your Own Page", fill out the form and click "Submit"
You will receive a login and password by email.
Once you receive your password, click on "Participant Login" and enter your login details from the email
Once you have registered and are logged in to your personal fundraising page, you can:
- Customize your fundraising page with a personal story and image
- Import your contact list from a .csv file - Instrustions below
- Email friends, family and colleagues and encourage their support
- View your fundraising progress
- Enter offline donations - Instructions below
- When asking your supporters to sponsor you, be sure to tell them to click the "Help Support {your name} Click Here to Donate" link on the top right corner of your fundraising page to be sure that their donation is included in your fundraising efforts and reflected on your goal meter.
Uploading my contacts from Outlook to my personal fundraising page
- In Outlook, under file, select “Import & Export”
- Select “Export To A File” then “Comma Separated Values” (windows)
- Under your Mailbox folder, select “Contacts”
- Enter a file name and the location you want to save it to, and select Next and then Finish
- Open your File and delete all columns except for “First Name”, “Last Name” and “Email Address”
- On your personal fundraising page, in the “Message Centre”, select “Import your contact list from Outlook”. Chose the files and upload.
Entering Offline Donations
You can enter any donations you receive by cheque or cash onto your personal fundraising page. To do this,
- Log into your personal fundraising page
- Go to “Donation Monitor” on the top of the page
- Scroll down and click on “Enter Offline Donations”
- Enter all the information of donation and click submit
- Sent the funds to Canadian Feed The Children
Your offline donations will count towards your fundraising total and the names will appear in your scroll.
Please note: Your offline donors will NOT receive a tax receipt until the funds are received by Canadian Feed The Children. You can send offline donations with the name, address and amount to Canadian Feed The Children, 174 Bartley Drive, Toronto ON M4A 1E1 Attn: Special Gifts.
