Kids Playing For Kids Benefit Concerts

newdube2.jpg

Come watch the Dube Brothers, ages 9, 11 and 13, play tunes many of you were only listening to on turntables at their age. They're playing for various events in support of kids in Haiti - the kids of the House of Hope Orphanage and Grace Children's Hospital. The House of Hope is very REAL. The Hospital is REAL. These children are REAL, and they REALLY NEED OUR HELP.

We contribute in a REAL way and make a REAL difference! There are four ways to give: Donate Online, by mail or by phone.

And you can attend a show to cheer them on! Contact Rob for more information about upcoming shows - dubes@rogers.com. Thanks to a matching donation from Ajax Downs, your gift is doubled!

Who are the Dube Brothers anyway?
They are 9, 11 and 13 years old. They started making videos of some of their mother's favorite songs as a means of keeping her spirits up as she fought cancer in bed. They were 7, 9, and 11 at the time.

In 2008 their mother, Michele, passed away, and music continues to act as a means of helping others as the boys have gone on to form a cover band that plays classic rock tunes to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. Since suffering is not limited to disease, the Dube brothers now support causes to help kids who, like themselves, have experienced the harsh realities of life, and in this case, require urgent attention...these are the kids of the House of Hope Orphanage.
